This is a reminder about inclement weather and Masses. Generally speaking, because our priests live here on campus, we do not cancel Masses. When severe weather occurs, people are reminded to use their common sense, especially when it comes to the safety of your family. Remember, God does not require the impossible. So, if you have to miss Mass on Sunday or a Holy Day of Obligation because you are prevented by bad weather, it is not a mortal sin. Remember also, though, that if you can go shopping or to a sporting event, you can go to Mass. In the case that Mass is ever cancelled for any unforeseen circumstances related to the extreme severe weather conditions (blizzards perhaps), notifications will be posted on our parish website and/or Facebook page.
