By now all registered members of the parish should have received my letter (click here) for the 2020 Bishop’s Annual Appeal, which was mailed on June 29th, The Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. The theme for this year’s appeal is “Living the Joy of the Gospel.” Both of these saints remind us of the need for the spreading of the Gospel and works of charity. This year our parish Bishop’s Annual Appeal Goal is $130,956.46 . Remember that anything over our goal comes back to our parish free of the 6% Diocesan assessment on income. This year, as stated in my letter, we would like to direct these funds to two priorities to be considered in the following order: 1) unplanned increases in expenses for St. Michael School which have occurred as result of requirements for reopening school according to diocesan, state and federal requirement as result of the recent COVID-19 pandemic; 2) the possibility of installing the technological capability of having LiveStreaming Masses (which could also be recorded and/or displayed in real time in Marian Hall). Both of these will assist with improving our evangelical mission.
The Appeal will kickoff the weekend of July 11-12. I ask that all parishioners prayerfully consider, in a spirit of gratitude, making a contribution for the needs of the people in the Diocese of Columbus and our parish community.

You may make a donation with the envelopes we have provided, or online at the diocesan website. Please remember to put St. Michael Parish as your parish of choice!
Thank you and may God bless you for your generosity!
