St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,

O Prince of the heavenly hosts,

Powerful Prayer to Saint Michael

glorious prince of the heavenly armies,
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in our battle against evil.
Come to the assistance of those whom God has created in His image
and likeness and whom He has redeemed at a great price.
The Church venerates you as her guardian and protector;
to you the Lord has entrusted the soul of the redeemed to be led
into Heaven.
Pray therefore to the God of peace to vanquish evil from the
earth,
that it may no longer hold us captive and do injury to the Church.
Offer our prayers to the Most High, that without delay they may

Father, we ask You today for Your Truth as a belt tight around our waist. We
put on the zeal to announce Your Good News of peace as shoes for our feet.
We put on Your righteousness, O Christ, as our breastplate,

that the mercy of the Lord may quickly come
and lay hold of the beast, the serpent of old, Satan and his demons,
casting him in chains into the abyss, so that he can no longer seduce the
nations.

Archangel
Oh most Noble Prince of the Angelic
Hierarchies
valorous warrior of Almighty God,
and zealous lover of His glory,
terror of the rebellious angels,
and love and delight of all the just ones,
my beloved Archangel Saint Michael,
desiring to be numbered among thy devoted servants,
I, today offer and consecrate myself to thee,
and place myself, my family,
and all I possess under thy most powerful protection.
I entreat thee not to look at how
little, I,
as thy servant have to offer,
being only a wretched sinner,
but to gaze, rather,
with favorable eye at the heartfelt affection
with which this offering is made,

Be with me, O mighty prince, that I may courageously fight and vanquish the evil one whom you, by the divine power, gloriously overthrew, and whom our powerful King, Jesus Christ has, in our nature, completely overcome; so that having triumphed and achieved salvation, I may with you and the holy angels praise the mercy of God, who has granted repentance and forgiveness to fallen humanity.
